The motto for the 6th Library Congress and thus also for the 105th German Librarians’ Day is “Library rooms – real and digital”. The 105th Library Day is organised by the Bundesvereinigung Bibliothek und Information Deutschland (BID) and the Bundesvereinigung Deutscher Bibliotheks- und Informationsverbände e.V. (Federal Association of German Library and Information Associations). The organizers are pleased that they were able to win the American Library Association (ALA) as a US American partner for the exchange of knowledge and experience for this year’s host country, the USA. About 3,000 librarians and information specialists are expected to attend the congress.

At the same time, the extensive specialist exhibition will take place at the Congress Center Leipzig on the exhibition grounds from 14 to 16 March. We are pleased that we will again be represented together with our partner company Image Access as an exhibitor at Stand D 13 and that we will be able to present you with numerous innovations in the field of digitisation. We will be pleased to inform you personally about our latest developments in the following areas:

Goobi

With the brand new version of Goobi, there are a number of new features that are well worth a look: The many new plugins, new metadata capture options, the LayoutWizzard and much more.

intranda viewer

Version 3.0, which is currently in the public test phase for all our customers, has a lot to see: Especially the completely new image display, the CMS module and the extended crowdsourcing will arouse your interest.

intranda TaskManager

With Rosetta, we now support another long-term archiving system for Goobi in intranda TaskManager. MyCore can now also be supplied thanks to the new Sword interface. But even beyond that, there is a lot that TaskManager can do new things and that you simply have to see.

Universal Capturing Client

Also our scan program UCC becomes more and more mature. In more and more facilities it is already in regular operation and allows by far the most efficient scanning method with simultaneous metadata acquisition. With the recently released new version 2.2 much has changed again in the functionality. And thanks to the new macro options, even repeated actions can be reduced to a minimum.
