22. September: (German) Digital Goobi Day 2020
We plan to do the same kind of event in November 2020 for the English speaking community as well!
As the corona pandemic has still not been overcome, we as intranda Team have been thinking for a long time about how to deal with the Goobi days 2020. Unfortunately, there can be no event in the classic sense this year. For this reason, we must break with tradition and switch to a purely digital format for the first time. This will take place on 22 September 2020. A first announcement was already made last week in the Community Forum.
The agenda for Goobi Day is as follows:
08:30 – 09:15
Dial-in of participants to the conference, unofficial welcome
09:15 – 09:30
Welcome and organisational matters (Steffen Hankiewicz)
09:30 – 10:30
Development review of Goobi workflow (Oliver Paetzel)
10:30 – 11:30
Development review Goobi viewer (Jan Vonde)
11:30 – 12:30
Current development focus and further outlook (Steffen Hankiewicz)
12:30 – 14:00
Individual lunch break
14:00 – 16:30
- Planned and spontaneous presentations from the community
- Focus on crowdsourcing: Contact Michael Goetze from the ZLB Berlin
- DDB office hours: Contact Stefanie Rühle from the DDB Library Department at the SUB Göttingen
- Additional specialist corners in separate conference rooms as required
“Digital Happy Hour(s)”
Informal comings and goings, exchange between participants on Goobi, digitisation and any other topics.
Each participant is asked to bring a drink/cocktail of his or her choice and, in the event of queries, to provide detailed information about the content, ingredients and mixing ratios. 🙂
Please note: There may be some minor shifts in this agenda, as there may be additional topics for the afternoon. However, we will not try to change the schedule published here.
The event will take place via the conference software Zoom. You will receive access to this after registration. Participation in the event is of course free of charge and not limited in terms of the number of participants.
